I created an alert policy in Ops Center that is supposed to email me when any of my drives are down. At least I thought it would. I selected
General
Drive is Down An alert is generated when a drive in a specified robot/media server in the selected view goes down.
Alert condition properties
Raise an individual alert for each drive path that is down:
Scope
All Master Servers
Alert is email with severity set to major.
Here's the problem, I have 3 drives down and no alerts generated anywhere. According to Ops Center, all my drives are up.
Is there something I need to configure in Ops Center to pull the drive information properly? Is my alert configured wrong? Is this not actually what I need to do to get alerts when drives go down?
Ops Center and NBU on 2008 r2. NBU 7.1. VTLs set up on HP D2D.
