Other BUE users in my area

Would it be appropriate to ask if there are other BUE users in my area?  I'm thinking about using tape encryption, but am a bit nervous about being able to restore the encrypted backups at my DR site (a plane ride away).  According to this article it should not be a problem - http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO22978.  I'd feel a lot better if there was someone locally who had BUE with either LTO-4 or LTO-5 drives that I could take my encrypted tape to and try to restore it.  If appropriate, I'll share my location in a follow-up post.
