I would like to request support for Novell OES 11 in Backup Exec 2012. It currently supports OES 2 but OES 11 has been out now for over a year and is the currently supported version of OES. There is very little difference between OES 2 and OES 11 in regard to data storage -- particularly support for NSS data volumes. More and more Novell customers are migrating to OES 11 only to find that they cannot backup their data with Backup Exec 2012. Since Symantec has dropped support for Netware 6.5, this has become even more critical since many Netware users are unable to back up their Netware servers and have no upgrade strategy that will be supported by Symantec.
I hope this will take a priority in Symantec's development strategy and a fix for this problem gets released as soon as possible.
