User backup for NDMP process

Good Morning,

i need your help to solve a big problem. In this moment we schedule an user-backup with OPC /JCL script. We backup some local FS on linux server and a NFS mount point.

The problem is that to backup the NAS we spend around 4 hours, instead if we use a NDMP backup the time is around 30 minutes..but... is not possible schedule by JCL a NDMP backup because user-backup is not allowed..

Also NDMP backup can't send an email to undesrtand the exit code...

So my question is.. is there a possiiblity to create a NDMP backup from client side ?

All the master and media server has got 7.5.0.6 Netabckup Enterprise Version on W2008 R2
